training, Cassie was a jumper in her day, she has been trained in English and once barrel raced. It would take a serious person to get her going fast enough for that though. She's an easy going horse who is the perfect lesson horse for smaller kids. With a crop one may be able to get her going for jumps--but it's difficult to get her trotting sometimes.
feeding, She can be grazed on grass, but will always expect hay for dinner. If given grain more than once a day she gets fat.
bad habits, She can be finicky about getting into a trot, and tends to dominate the pasture.
health, She's quite old, but with proper caring can live at least to 30. Every 3 months she needs and injection for her legs that will keep her from being ridden for a week.

history, Cassie was a show girl when she was younger. Her owner took her around to the events in the area and jumped her--winning many ribbons. Cassie went by the show name "Cassidy's Revenge" and this horse has numerous ribbons. Her owner went off to college and wasn't able to care for her any longer so she sold her to a seemingly nice stable who kept her for years, but it went downhill and she was left in the mud, miserable and bitter. Tango got a hold of her a few months ago, getting her free because of the condition. It wasn't much to get her back into form, and he doesn't have much use for her--not having students to teach yet. He's decided to sell her, looking for someone with a child because she's best with young children--or he's looking for someone who will use her as a lesson horse and give her the proper care. He's sure that won't be hard around here.
