name, Tango character, Josh Tango horse, This one. =] price, $1500 [He's going to try and haggle the price down] labor, I'll be training him primarily as a Western pleasure horse. He'll be doing a lot of reigning, but I plan to train him in all Western disciplines and maybe a bit of English over time. how long, He seems like a good horse. I don't plan on selling him--at least not for a few years anyway. post,
Tango had heard about the catch around town. He knew the boys were looking to sell the stallion. He was definitely curious about him. That curiosity led him to check out this wild horse. He packed his dogs in the truck and headed over to the ranch that the boys were keeping the stallion at. When he got there he left the dogs in the cab of the truck, with the windows down and headed for the paddock where the stallion was rearing about. From the bit he knew it was clear this was the catch he'd heard talk of. He was not disappointed by what he saw. This wild Arabian was something to see. The stallion was gorgeous. He was a bit large for the Arabians he'd seen, but he had a gorgeous composition from what he could tell from the fence. He watched the stallion buck around the paddock and smiled, leaning on the fence. "Hey there King. You're quite the stallion there, hmm? Wonder what kind of boy you'd bee all calmed down huh?" He smiled. He looked like quite the city boy standing at this fence, but he knew what he was doing and he had quite the name in the training world.
He went back over to his truck and rubbed Sara's head. "So what do ya think girl? Think he'd be a good addition to the team? Think you and Jake here could help keep him in line?" He rubbed her head again and headed into the barn. He needed to find the boys who were selling the stallion. He was a good horse it looked like, but he wasn't sure about paying the full $1500 for an unbroke stallion. "Hello? Anyone here? I'm here about the stallion." He called out, peeking around into the stalls looking for the boys. He hoped they would be willing to go down some. He hoped to train the stallion in reining primarily, but a lot of western pleasure.
He sighed and leaned against the wall, he would just wait a few minutes then for them to show.

thinking about it,
Serenity was relaxing inside the room with her boots on the table and her hat slide down over her eyes. Then she heard a call from down stares. Getting up lazily she started to walk down and then heard, 'Hello? Anyone here? I'm here about the stallion.' She smiled and went down the stairs a little faster. She looked near the door and saw Tango there. She put her hand on her hat and ran to the door. She smiled at him and then replied, "You looking at old No Name here?" She giggled to herself and then looked back up at Tango, for he was taller than her.

Tango heard someone coming down the stairs, he hadn't expected Serenity--ah well 'tis the way things go. He smiled back to her as she replied. "Yes ma'am I am. He looks like he's got some real promise in him. Though I'm not too sure about paying $1500 for him. Sure he's a good looker, but he's still an unbroke stallion. That's a bit much to ask when I'd still need to get all the equipment to train him." He stayed leaning against the wall--if he knew anything, he had a good idea what a horse was worth. He knew right off the bat that he'd need to buy the equipment to train him, and then saddles and driving reigns, etc... He watched Serenity with a keen eye, not trying to be rude at all, he just knew he'd be putting a massive amount of money into this horse. He wasn't going to let this guy get away though--this could be his "great Western pleasure horse."

accepted,
Serenity looked at the horse again. It bucked, kicked and whinnied about in the stall. 'Yes ma'am I am. He looks like he's got some real promise in him. Though I'm not too sure about paying $1500 for him. Sure he's a good looker, but he's still an unbroken stallion. That's a bit much to ask when I'd still need to get all the equipment to train him.' Serenity listened and then took a step back. She didn't pick the price but then again she did feel that it was a little high. But she couldn't change it. But she did say to the guys that she would take some of the money because she was the one selling it, not them. She smiled and and replied, "OK, I didn't make the price but I will tell you what. You pay 1,000 or you pay the original 1,500." She stood his her hands in her back pockets, feeling proud of her wager.

Tango listened to her offer and nodded. "That sounds fair enough. I'll take him then--just hope he's as good as he looks when it comes down to it." He smiled and took his wallet out of his back pocket. He hadn't expected it to go any lower than $1000, honestly, he knew back home that a wild stallion would go for a bit less perhaps--but this wasn't back home and this one seemed worth it. Tango counted out $1000 and handed it to Serenity--he had come prepared. After he handed her the money he walked over to the stall and watched the Arab fight it out. He'd kick through that stall if he was left in there long enough. "Good luck to me eh?" He smiled, glancing back to Serenity a moment before moving back toward her. "Well, thank you ma'am. Hopefully we'll be seeing a perfect gentleman in that stall here real soon." He dipped his head slightly--which would have given a better effect if he'd had a cowboy hat on--and headed to his truck. Time to work his magic--well first he'd head to the store for some gear.

Ok, he is yours. Make sure to make a character file. =] And I guess the money will go to Serenity because the 'guys' don't have a bank. And have fun with the horse! Remember that the horse stays in the barn at the ranch. Unless you are training it in the arena. =]
